This Committee meets 3-4 times a year, as needed. This committee works in conjunction with other trade associations in our industry to promote awareness of the long-term rewards of a career in the Precision Metalworking Industry.

This committee also assists in seeking employment for students/apprentices to work at member
companies.

This committee is very active. They:

Host informative gatherings for school administrators, and/or parents and students
Coordinate job shadowing and school presentations with members
Manage and support BotsIQ Wisconsin - a program that introduces high school students to manufacturing, and makes them aware of career opportunities in manufacturing.
Manage equipment, including booth display, TV, recorder and display materials for school expos and
tours

The Tool, Die & Machining Association of Wisconsin, established in 1937, was organized for the purpose of providing a forum for the independent tool & die and machine shop owners of Wisconsin to discuss mutual problems and for the exchange of ideas in business management and the technical aspects of the industry. We are also committed to educating the community, parents, and students about our industry through scholarships, seminars, and the like, and on the life long rewards of a career in the precision metalworking industry
