Program Committee

This committee meets 2-3 times each year.
This committee determines program content for general member meetings. Meetings are always on the first Tuesday of the month. Meetings are held in September, October, November, December, February, March, April and May.
In addition to the speaker, only accredited representatives of member companies (owners) and retired
members may attend. The Board of Directors may also allow others to attend at their discretion.
Owners of member shops may designate one company representative that can either accompany them
at meetings, or act in their stead if they cannot attend. For approval, the owner must notify the administrative
office on company letterhead stating the name of the person authorized to attend. The designated
representative should be an active part of the member's management team.
This committee is also responsible for planning a Summer Outing in August. Attendance at the Summer
Outing is open to member representatives, families and friends, Group Buying Partners and their guests.
Programs have a major influence on the number of attendees at the monthly meetings. Speakers are
asked to work with the TDMAW office to coordinate logistics and gain information for the newsletter. The
Executive Secretary also arranges for a speaker gift, and writes a follow-up thank you letter.
