Urgent Notice Regarding WI Apprenticeships! The State of WI along with the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS), has now launched the 21st Century Competency-Based Apprenticeship Program for CNC Machinists, Tool & Die Maker, Mold Maker, Tool Maker and Machine Repair and Maintenance. This new program modifies the time-based apprenticeship to competency-based apprenticeships. In August, WCTC plans to start the next group of NIMS Level 1 Apprenticeship Program for metal working trades. We are now seeking companies that may want to participate or want more information regarding this opportunity. We need to know by JULY 1, 2013 if you are interested. We know of SEVERAL interested candidates that we could connect you with, but we NEED SPONSORS!
